Each year, we award millions of dollars in grant support, funding a wide variety of impactful projects. Our ability to provide grant and volunteer support is possible thanks to philanthropic partnerships with passionate community members and like-minded organizations.

Areas of focus

• Transforming youth mental health through Ohana, a transformative model of child and adolescent mental and behavioral healthcare. Your generosity will help countless children and families in our community and beyond.

• Strengthening community health through initiatives that attract and retain the best doctors to Monterey County, meet the health needs of underserved populations, combat the opioid epidemic, and more.
• Advancing clinical excellence and innovation to improve healthcare quality and safety. This focus has led to the purchase of advanced equipment, including robotic surgical technology, and the recruitment of leading medical specialists.
• Enhancing the patient experience and supporting families and caregivers. This encompasses everything from compassionate services that promote healing to practical resources that make daily life easier.

Adapting strategically to challenges

Though we raise funds for specific projects and services, we support numerous other areas through an unrestricted, or general, fund. This fund gives us the flexibility to allocate donations where needed most as new challenges arise.

Annually, hundreds of Montage Health volunteers donate thousands of hours of service.
