Blue Shield California Trio HMO

As community members look to save on healthcare costs in the midst of rising inflation and an uncertain economy, residents and workers in Monterey County now have access to a new, more affordable health insurance plan for 2023 – the first widely available HMO plan in the region.

Blue Shield of California now offers Trio HMO, a plan that gives those who live or work in most areas of Monterey County access to high-value care at a lower monthly premium than most other PPO plans.

Trio HMO members will have access to Montage Health, a family of healthcare organizations and services that include:

• Aspire Health
• Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, (including services such as Ohana Center for Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health, Tyler Heart Institute, outpatient care and more)
  
• MoGo Urgent Care
• Montage Medical Group

In addition, Trio HMO members will have access to Salinas Valley Health, which also offers an array of health services from prevention to acute care, robust physician networks, urgent care clinics, outpatient services, and more.
