How to borrow an AED for an event

Step 1: Submit an online application

Application will specify the quantity of AEDs needed as well as your preferred pick up/drop off dates and times. Once the application is reviewed, the Tyler Heart Institute’s AED Program staff will contact you to confirm, deny, or request to change the scheduling.

Step 2: Pick up AED(s) and sign AED loaner agreement form.

A liability waiver is required for borrowers. Also, a CPR certification card from one member of the borrowing organization is required and will be copied at the time of pick up.

Step 3: Drop off AED(s)

Return the AED(s) at scheduled date and time.
