Therapies and services
Through Community Hospital, you have access to a wide range of rehabilitation services, including:
Rehabilitation for a health condition
If you experience a serious illness, your doctor may recommend a rehabilitation program designed to treat, manage, or help you recover from that condition. Work toward a healthier, more independent lifestyle with:
Inpatient care
After a serious injury or major surgery, your rehabilitation may start during an overnight stay at Community Hospital. If you have surgery, you’ll receive therapy in the following hours or days to support your initial recovery in the hospital.
If you need more intensive rehabilitation, you may spend a couple of weeks in the hospital’s William R. Lewis, MD, Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (IRU), where you receive three hours of therapy five days a week. Feel confident knowing the IRU is accredited by CARF International, the leading agency recognizing high-quality inpatient rehabilitation programs. Click here for a 360-degree tour of the IRU.
Outpatient care
Whether or not your journey started with inpatient therapy, you’ll likely take part in outpatient rehabilitation to rebuild your abilities. You’ll visit a Montage Health location regularly for therapy appointments and go home afterward.
Nursing home care
If you or a loved one stays at Westland House, our short-term skilled nursing facility, your care plan may include physical, occupational, or speech therapy to improve independence, confidence, and self-reliance.
