Cathy Herbert, PMHNP

Cathy (she, her, hers) specializes in psychiatry and believes the patient should always be at the center of care. She says relationship-based care between healthcare providers, patients, and families are the key components of a healing environment. She is most proud of achieving her dream of being a nurse practitioner and finishing graduate school. Cathy finds importance in helping others and learning new things, and appreciates how this field of work satisfies both of those things. After nursing school, Cathy became a psychiatric RN and has been doing it ever since. She loves nursing, education, traveling, cocker spaniels, reading, home improvement projects and decorating, exercise, the ocean, sea otters, reading, and going to the beach.
