Krista Reuther, LCSW, MPH

Krista Reuther (she, her, hers) is the assistant director of Ohana’s Community Health and Prevention program and Family Care Management program. Krista has always enjoyed working with children, and she comes to this position at Ohana after 14 years of clinical social work experience at Stanford Children’s Hospital in pediatric oncology, critical care, and bereavement. She has had a lifelong interest in the factors that lead to optimal health for an individual, family, and community. Her goal in her role at Ohana is to reduce the incidence of mental illness in children and adolescents in Monterey County utilizing public health prevention strategies. In her free time, she enjoys walking along the beach with her family, hiking, yoga, gardening, and cooking plant-based cuisine.
