Cardiac MRI
See the shape and structures of your heart with cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) at Montage Health.
Why do I need this test?
Your doctor may order a cardiac MRI to look for:
What to expect
Before heart MRI, you may receive an injection of a contrast dye that makes your blood vessels show up better on images. You’ll lie on a table that slides into the MRI machine so it can take pictures of your heart. The technology uses only magnets and radio waves, not radiation.
After cardiac MRI
After the test, you can return to your daily activities right away.
